Hi T_Hobbit, from http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=269867#269867 thank you very much. Although doing as you did (above) still brought dependencies messages after wxwidgets installation, even so amule have installed with no more dependencies messages. Now the first thing it warned was...

As a newby I began to use pctorrent and found it very easy to manage, very nice!

Please, is it possible to resume an interrupted download, like because of having needed to power off the computer?

Thanks in advance.

Hello robwoj44,

As I am trying to install amule and it reportedly depends on wxwidgets, I downloaded it from the link you provided, thank you very much.

Now its installation tells it depends on (not found) libbfd libraries. Is that expected as I'm running puppy 412?

Please, does Macpup have aMule?

What other extra packages it has? Possibly only those listed above?

Thank you!

Update:

For anyone still needing some gnupg able email client, thunderbird worked for me. The specific add-on is Enigmail, that should (but didn't) work with seamonkey email, and which amazingly I couldn't find searching inside mozilla site, but finding it *there* searching through google.

Update/correction:

As I drag an icon, the image doesn't change, but the "icon" field does change to the path/name of the icon.

Hello MU and All, As a newcomer to linux (thru puppy), I was looking for some way to put new installed pet's icons on the desktop, in order to load them from there, instead of having to go for the menu, or the console... So, this Desktop-entry.pet must be great, thank you so much, but I couldn't mak...

RAM Manager?

Hello, Please, is there some pup/pet "ram manager", or "ram-optimizer", or so? If not, anyway to do that through some system utility, or command line script, or so? It would be great to have at least some "ram-wipe-off" triggered at puppy shut down. Thank you very much,...

Thank you for this amsn pet, for it will be much easier for my kids. The only issue I've got was that ssl thing we must chose to download and install. I guessed for the first one but couldn't connect. Maybe the correct one for puppy 412 is some of the others? I hope some of them will work, oh please...

I didn't try tor, from torpup, but I tried truecrypt, and it works fine, and with its normal gui, exactly as the win version. I found torpup somehow resource consuming. For example, after some webpages open, it freezes. I'm about to try tor, and I will post my results then. But I'm aware of an overa...

Hm, here I am 30 minutes later...

So, could it be that, as muppy has wine, it would accept truecrypt, pgp and gimp windows install, and then I could... hm... remasterize it?...
