Hi Thanks for the link to the fix advice, but I couldn't get the chmod instruction to work, I just couldn't work around the access privileges required to use it. So I started Fatdog with savefile = none which gave me access to CUPS so after restoring all my local settings and setting up the printer ...

Fatdog 64 printing stopped and CUPS server error
Hi All
Printing has stopped working and CUPs reports server error on http://localhost:631/admin.
I presume there is some access error to the relevant files, is there a way of reestablishing access?
Happy New Year

Hi Chapchap70 Thanks for the advice, but I cannot see a volume/speaker control I must have an earlier version of Fatdog. Fatfog64 sound quit working (Solved)
Hi All I returned to an old Fatdog64 (installation on a spare hard drive) after a number of years and everything worked great for about 2 weeks, but now the sound has stopped working! is it possible to inadvertently mute it? If so I would be grateful for the un-mute instruction?. The Multiple sound ...

Hi Dewbie Further to your question: Are you running the regular version of Lucid 5.25, or 5.25 retro? (5.25 retro is a special build for older hardware.) If you're not sure, look under: Menu / System / HardInfo / Operating System If the listed kernel is 2.6.30.5, that's Lucid Retro. This is what it ...
