Yes i downloaded the cb_400.sfs done by tmpMichigan , and the link given by Mu in the previous page.

do you have a version for the devx_400.sfs ? that works better ?

is it difficult to compile codeblocks in puppy , i am a newbie in linux ?

Yes, I have installed the dev-kernel, and it works fine , I 'll try to compile the linux sources of Devc++ , does any one try to do that ? I dont know how to process :(

Thank you for your answer, is there a way to start from grub, with xserver, in one way and only in text mode in other way, like it seems possibble when booting first time on hard disk by typing after # prompt pfx=nox ?

Boot in Text Mode

Hello ,

I would boot puppy4 installed on a hard disk , in text mode , an load server x manually if necessary, my purpose is to boot fastest in text mode and run an application program.
