Ditto on not being able to download Boxpup 431. The link Roy gave doesn't seem to work either.

How about dual booting Puppy with Windows 7?
I'm looking at building a modest gaming computer with my tax refund, and I'm considering moving to Windows 7. But I don't know how hard it would be to dual boot Win 7 and Puppy, because I don't wanna give up my Puppy if I don't have to.

Anyone? I'm considering a new laptop, and I want to be able to dual boot with newer versions of Windows for the things I can't figure out how to do in Puppy. My last laptop purchase was hampered by trying to find one without Vista, and I have buyer's remorse, especially since I overpayed at a rent t...

I expected that from Wolfpup, Jeff!
No, seriously, now that he mentions it, I'm curious. Is it possible?

Thanks bunches as always, gray.
By the way, is there any way to change what icons are used by Thunar and the drive icons on the side of the screen? I found a set of icons called JQ8flat-lite that I love, but I hate the ones Thunar uses by default.

Hey, grey. In Revision 1, how do you change the format of the clock by the CPU activity meter in the bottom right of the screen? It's displaying hours and minutes in 24 hour format, I want 12 hour format. I know the srtftime code, I just don't know what file to edit. Thanks.

So why did you decide to use Gxine? There may be other choices that I don't agree with it. I downloaded it and tried it, and didn't do much with it. Went back to 413, and upgraded to 413 Revision 1, which I'm in now. That's the thing that stands out the most right off the top of my head, though. Why...

No, I think the main reason for the lapse is just for the fact that newer versions of Boxpup have been released since, which have had threads of their own.

I have the same problem, rainyday. The switch on my laptop that shuts off the screen when you close it is broken, so I want to know how to manually shut the screen off, but when I tried setting to screen saver and locking the screen, it wouldn't let me back in.

Is Revision 1 available on any of the mirrors? I know there have been problems with Puppy Asia. I did get Revision 1 downloaded, and I'll play around with it. Thanks for all you do, gray.

So does anyone know of any way to play this in networked multipalyer? I see an option for split screen, but I'd rather have a whole monitor to myself and have everyone else have that advantage. If not this, a similar game with this option?

Just found another strike against FirePup, as much as I love it. Google Docs doesn't seem to work with FireFox one series, or at least with FirePup. So I'm looking for the best alternative. And if it can coexist with FirePup, all the better. UPDATE: Just downloaded Firefox 3 straight off Mozilla's s...

Did a search in the forum and it said that there was a file in the repository that would do the trick. I didn't find the exact file mentioned, but xorg_xorg_full_dri-7.3 did the trick. Fun game. It's slow on my laptop in Boxpup 413, unplayably slow at times, but turning off the music seems to keep i...

I had this running, but I had installed and uninstalled a bunch of programs and I started running low on free memory, so I wiped the partition and did a fresh install. Now I can't remember how I had it running.
Sakura says it can't find libglut.so.3. What is this symlinking business?
