Just installed xfce and I get a black desktop!
Hi everyone! I just downloaded a dotpet of xfce4, and now my desktop is black except for the panel and taskbar. This happens for xfwm and icewm. Rox doesn't work anymore. The computer freezes when I change desktops. None of these problems occur in jwm, though. I'm using puppy Dingo 4.00 full install...

Leopard - Release Zero
Here is the latest theme I've been working on, an attempt to make puppy look like leopard. Any suggestions are welcome =) Plans for future releases: 1. Make pressed-down titlebar buttons 2. Use images where only solid colour is used (like menu popup selections, etc) I would appreciate any suggestion...

Thanks, here's Platinum Release Two
Yes, flat was the right one. I was trying to go fro a rounded taskbar, but there is still an annoying border around the start button, it's just made the same colour as the taskbar... I guess I'll just have to go for a square taskbar for now, until IceWM brings out a way to change these things. Here ...

Platinum IceWM Theme - Release One
Hello Everyone, I'd like to present one of my IceWM themes: Platinum-1 Click here for some waffle about my theming business. A couple things I'd like to know how to do (for Release Two): 1. How can I remove the annoying border from the start button? I've seen IceWM themes without this border 2. How ...

Firefox/SeaMonkey/Flock crash when insert key is pressed
Hi
It would seem any Gecko-based browser I use crashes while I'm typing and I press the insert key by accident. This is ver annoying and I'd like to know if there was a way to fix this problem.
Maybe if I could disable the insert key for gecko-based browsers?

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your help. Yes the kernel source package for 3.01 does work in dingo. The drivers installed fine! Xorg was giving me a black screen. I suspected the graphics card was faulty, so then I took my graphics card out and found it to be covered in dust, and the fan couldn't...

Thanks Bruce. I think both version 3.01 and 4 of puppy use the same kernel version (for compatability reasons?), so wouldn't that mean I could use a kernel source package for 3.01? --------------------------------------------------------------------- If my understanding is wrong, please correct. Acc...

How to install proprietary drivers for GeForce 5200 fx?
Hi, I just got puppy 4 for my computer and I am very pleased with it. I would like a very detailed step-by-step guide to installing drivers for my video card, a GeForce 5200 FX. I have searched all over the place for such a guide but I couldn't find one that worked for me. Some steps are missing tha...
