How do you guys find these things?

I have spent hours googling and doing searches on this and other forums and

got nowhere.

I wanted to install tightvncviewer on puppy 4.0 but only found a .pup file. I ran pup2pet and then tried installing it. It reports some missing libraries but I don't know where to get them from. I guess it would be better if I could find a .pet file. Any idea where I can get what I want from, Thanks

Whatever application I start up there are none of the minimize ( _ ) maximize ( open square ) or close ( X ) options available. Also the Subject and Subject description fields have a white background, and any tick box etc is invisible. This is on a new install of Puppy 4.0 to hard disc. I am also un...
