I'm likeing Bionic a lot. A solid upgrade from Xenial. Very much enjoying the apps I usually install being one click away in the Quickpet settings. I was running some XFCE install scripts when about half way through I remembered I hadn't installed Scott's pkg manager, imagine my surprise that it's b...

Oh wow, this is so awesome Scott! Nice work man. I was just looking to install pkg for the features I've grown accustom to like installing from the command line or forcing a pet to install, but I see you've added a bunch of new awesome features too! Really looking forward to exploring the new guis (...

Apologies I couldn't assist Mike, I'm glad Marv knew what the issue was. I appear to have lost momentum again so I'll just post the pet I was working on based on the earlier discussion back in December. Consider it a beta as I know I was working on it but I wasn't happy with something about it. It's...

Following this thread with interest, also curious to see mistfire's .xinitrc rewrite :) I wanted to give a go for a more universal .xinitrc for XFCE as currently I have to completely disable jwm/rox for XFCE to start. So hopefully if mistfire's does it all, there will be no need to reinvent the wheel.

I suppose what I'm trying to work out is how do I get Woof-CE to build a petbuild? Do I just use DISTRO_PKGS_SPECS-ubuntu-xenial:
Would that include the deb from the Ubuntu repository or would my petbuild recipe take precedence?

Re: XFCE 4.12 Pet with Customized Whisker Menu
Nice Mike, thanks for the shoutout. If it doesn't affect the regular menu, I'll see about adding it to an updated pet, or maybe even the main iso, I know a lot of people like Whiskers. @all I've been thinking about updating this pet with the latest fixes from the iso, but I'm not sure if I should ke...

Thanks for that Bigpup, good to know it's not a Puppy only issue. I had a go brief go at some of their suggested solutions such as disabling adblock and had a look at tracking protection but adblock didn't seem to make a difference and tracking protection is already disabled. Will keep my eyes open ...

can anyone get this simple embedded 10 sec video (below) to play from Yahoo's main sport page, which shows Larry Nance Jr of the Los Angeles Lakers dunking over Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors (last night's game)??? https://sports.yahoo.com/larry-nance-jr-posterized-kevin-durant-lakers-be...

These are for the apulse fix, or rather what comprises Oscar's apulse fix? And below is the user.js fix (that's in /usr/root/.mozilla/firefox/######.default/user.js) Yes and yes, Firefox will work with sound out of the box with this pet in regular Xenialpup. It probably won't work on Slacko though ...

That's not difficult Belham, I can put together the Firefox I have in Xenialpup64 and upload it if needed. All that's needed to run in XenialPup is just oscar's apulse and the custom user.js file. I'll post a link to the sfs once it's uploaded.
