Is your network ssid hidden?

try un-hiding it and see if you can connect that way!

I'm having the same problem as rkismet, on first boot of puppy 4 I managed to get a network connection, then on subsequent boots nothing! dhcpcd is returning a 169. address. In resolv.conf the name server is set as my router ip address, and it was automatically created by dhcpcd! I'm going to try so...

I also have this problem, I have managed once to get wireless working, then I turned it off, saving my settings, but next time I booted up, nothing, nada, nil, zip, zero! In resolv.conf its showing the right name server, and the domain to search, but it just keeps giving me the wrong ip address and ...

How about updating this for version 4? Ok, I've had a chance to see what was happening...

it seems that it is using xvesa to display the graphics.

If I try "xorgwizard" then I get an "input/output error"

If anyone can help your help will be much appreciated

Strange problem with setting up graphics

I had this really strange problem, in that what ever I tried I just couldn't get the x server up and running, the test screens would work, but it would refuse to load x, and even the "safe" xvesa wouldn't work either, it would keep stopping and starting again. The solution? I started Puppy...
