It is designed to require very few...

/rdb, NoSQL and SHQL and other unix test file dbs
A long time ago I wrote an integration application using unix text file tools (if I remember correctly it was under SGI IRIX 6.5). Everything worked well until some of the input data became arabic (unicode) characters .... it wasn't pretty let me tell you. I was new to the whole unicode thingy then....

Help - Rapidshare problems
Hi,
Sorry for bumping this thread but can some helpful person post the PySolFC pet on a file host other than rapidshare, please?

Thank you in advance,
cklammer

BUG: Resizing NTFS partitions with GPartED - "xdd" missing
Hi, all, I have found a quite annoying bug in 4.2 when resizing NTFS partitions with GpartEd. After resizing the NTFS partition it is apparently necessary to patch the boot sector(s) of the NTFS partition (if the partition in question is bootable/active?). GPartEd is using a piped commandline in thr...

I ran into this when manually upgrading a frugal IDE hard disk installation from 4.00 to 4.20. I have had Grub 0.91 installed previously using a dedicated GRUB boot partition. I do not know where I got that particular GRUB version from - most likely from DSL or so .... whatever. I downloaded Legacy ...

Gimp 2.6 (updated to 2.6.3) install under PL4.1.2 conflict
Hallo everyone, I downloaded the Gimp 2.6.3 from the OP and (greedily) installed it by mistake on top of the existing GIMP 2.4.x install under 4.1.2. That didn't work out at all with GIMP crashing at program invocation every time. I ended up un-installing every "gimp-*" with the package ma...

Full Screen Flash Games in full window
Thanx, but that doesn't work real well for sesamestreet.org. They have "portlet" flash movies which talk back to a server db to get the games, videos and other content references and present them to the user. Wheels within wheels really. Googling the site following your method only lists t...
