How can I open a port for Gxine to listen?
When I open Gxine for playing e.g. a video file on the internet, it plays it by opening up a specific TCP or UDP port for receiving the video data. BUT how can I open this port up manually without requesting a video file (so that it will play e.g. any video that is streamed to it from e.g. another P...

Hello.... I understand that gxine does not run on full screen from running off the command prompt...i.e. it does not recognise: #gxine -f But, as soon as the video starts playing, I can press 'f' key and full screen works great. Can someone tell me what purpose does "root/.gxine/keybindings &qu...

run script & pause boot-up
Hi....,
When I want to run a script whilst boting up, I use "&" at the end of the script call so that boot-up still continues whilst the script is ran.
Is there a way to pause boot-up until the script is finished and then continue with boot-up.
Thank you all
