with an usb cddrive same story
The problem is: this old DELL D420 has no internal cd drive.
I tried it with external usb cd drive and got the same error messages.
The booting from sd- and cf-card is rejected.
And I cannot switch the hdd drive to another machine, because it is neither nor pata sata.

Installation error: cannot find Puppy on 'idecd' boot media
Hi,
I tried an installation of your os. I made a fat32 boot partition at the usbstick.
Then I moved the data with unetbootin from the iso-file.
I am trying at old Dell D420 laptop.
I want to install LegacyOS in the hda3 partition.
What is the solution?
Best regards

Gibt es in irgendeinem Puppy Unterstützung für SCSI Platten?
Hallo,
ich würde gerne SCSI Platten unter Puppy benutzen.
Meine bisherigen Puppy-Varianten unterstützen kein SCSI.
Die Platten werden mit flist -l nicht erkannt.
Gruß svgt

Thanks in advance.

Mouse does not work in OS2 (solved)
Hi,
I just tried the OS2 with my old 500MHz computer. This old machine has no PS/2 and no original USB sockets. There is a PCI card with USB jacks. Is there a chance to get the mouse working over this PCI jacks?
Regards
